Anime Watch

Preparations for Anime Halloween have begun! I hope many of our anime fans and otaku can make it again.

We have added new anime this year, as always. Chrome-shelled Regios is new this year, and we have replaced our worn-out copy of Negima, as well as added the second season! (Title is "Negima?") Season 5 of Hetalia will be hitting the shelf tonight, and thanks to a generous donation, Season 2 of Code Geass will also be added before long. We have also ordered a DVD containing two short OVAs, Coffee Samurai and Hoshizora Kiseki. The first is the strange tale of an ancient samurai reincarnated as a coffee vending machine. The second is the story of a boy with uncanny knowledge of the stars.

Keep watching with us! And get your cosplay ready for October 25th!

Back to the Eighties!

Rev up your radical Delorean and prepare to go into the past as we present a totally tubular time-travel trilogy from the days when New Wave was gnarly and everyone was wondering where the beef was! We go Back to the Eighties on August 1! Movies will be shown at 3, 5 and 7 pm. Don't miss it, or you will be declared grody to the max! (NOTE: Date edited to avoid Fair Week!)

Spring at last!

Well, let's hope Winter is finally over.

Our spring Anime even was once again loads of fun. We have added exciting new titles like Natsume's Book of Friends and Penguindrum this year.

We've also been working hard on our Spring movie lineup. Hope to see you on Fridays!

Too cold for anything but MOVIES!

Hey, hope you're getting through this cold winter okay! We are buying plenty of exciting new movies, so remember to get your library on! Those of you following popular series will be excited by this month's release of Downton Abbey Season 4, and Game of Thrones Season 3!

April 1st Amnesty Day is approaching fast--as long as your items have been returned, we will erase all Seymour library fines for anyone who comes in! Time to get those killer movie late fees wiped out.

In anime, be ready for the fast-approaching Anime Afternoon, on April 5th this year! It's earlier than usual due to schedule conflicts. We are adding new titles this year, as always--here in Seymour, we have Natsume's Book of Friends awaiting cataloging, and Penguindrum on order. In the library system, since the last event, libraries have added Nura Rise of the Yokai Clan and Hakuoki.
